What is it?
Pilates involves a series of precise movements to strengthen your core muscles while making you more flexible. It is similar to yoga with breathing, movement and exertion, however the majority of focus is your core.
What can I expect?
Pilates uses traditional and modern yoga exercises and techniques to improve mobility, breathing, and strength. This is dependent on how advanced you would like to be! There are different levels of each exercise so you can feel comfortable at your own pace.
Who is it for?
Our classes are for all ages and all levels. Pilates helps ease back pain, improves balance, and boost your natural energy. Older men and women and pregnant women can especially benefit from pilates, though we welcome everyone in the community to join.
